Wrapped in phyllo pastry and baked, these yummy pockets served with plum jam make for a show-stealing appetizer at any dinner party. Using phyllo dough is easy! Just follow the steps below.
8 Sheets of phyllo pastry
20 ozGrillies (Cut in 4 thick pieces)
Olive Oil to brush the phyllo sheets
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Stack two sheets of phyllo on a cutting board, lightly brushing each sheet with oil. Place one piece of cut Grillies in the centre of each phyllo stack. Brush the edges of phyllo sheets with water and bring opposite corners together to form a rectangle, twisting the edges together to seal. Repeat three more times to use the remaining phyllo sheets and cheese. You should have 4 parcels.
Place the parcels on a baking sheet and brush each parcel with olive oil.
Bake for 15 to 20 minutes or until phyllo is golden brown. Serve warm with a garnish of plum jam.
