Breaded & Spicy Grillies Cubes


These golden, spicy Grillies bites are simply delicious and so easy to make. The coating is a unique bread crumb mixture with egg, chili powder, ketchup and mustard. If you want to add some sweet to your spicy, try dipping these cubes in honey.

  • 12 ozGrillies (diced)

  • 1 egg (Egg Mixture)

  • 1.25 TspSalt (Egg Mixture)

  • 0.5 TspChili Powder (Egg Mixture)

  • 1 TbspKetchup (Egg Mixture)

  • 2 TspMustard (Egg Mixture)

  • 2 Tspbread crumbs (Egg Mixture)

  • Vegetable Oil for frying (Egg Mixture)

  • 2 ozbread crumbs

  1. Combine egg, salt, chili powder, ketchup, mustard and breadcrumbs in a medium mixing bowl; stir well.

  2. Place the bread crumbs on a medium-sized plate.

  3. Dip each Grillies cube in the egg mixture then dredge in the bread crumbs to coat.

  4. Heat 1/2 inch of oil in a large skillet. Add the breaded Grillies in several batches, and fry for six to seven minutes or until golden, turning frequently. Add additional oil if necessary. Drain well on paper towels.

  5. Serve warm on cocktail stick and dip in honey for a tantalizing savory sweet taste.
